Got to love the transportation out here. This was a larger than normal tuk tuk. We actually paid way too much for this ride but it was our first hours in Thailand and you always seem to get ripped off your first day trying to figure out what things really cost and how much Thai Baht is equal to a US dollar.

Here was the beach we stayed at for a few days. We paid 400 Baht for our room and that was the equivalent of about $12 US. So 6 each for us, not a bad deal.

There were these cool Karst formations everywhere around Ao Nang and the town of Krabi. Made for nice views.

The sunsets were just like they were in Maui, beautiful. Monica had an idea that we should get up early one morning and watch the sunrise and I said yeah and well we actually got up at like 5:30am (couldn't believe Monica got up) and realized that the sunrise obviously wasn't visible from where we were at. We asked a guy and he laughed and said aroun 8:30 it will be coming over the mountains. A little pissed at Monica for the idea and a little pissed at myself for having a blond moment.

All of a sudden I saw a guy riding an elephant and so I went over there and fed it.

Elephants were around a lot and were very nice and I really liked them! Want one as a pet!
